840 is an aluminum oxide based abrasive compound. It is formulated with a moderate
alkaline build and suspension additives. This
product keeps media and abrasive particulate
sharp and working hard. This highly refined blend is designed to give both optimum cut-down
times and finish color on a wide variety of alloys.

For usage in rotary barrel and vibratory finishing
operations to debur and improve surface
qualities. Usage will vary greatly depending on
nature of parts, amount of water used, time
requirements, finish desired, equipment
employed, media used (if any), and other
physical properties related to the process.
Consult your sales representative for recommendations specific to your operation.

This product does not pose any fire hazards.
Use good industrial hygiene practices such as
wearing chemical safety goggles, rubber gloves,
impermeable apron, rubber boots, as necessary
to prevent personal contact. NIOSH approved
respirator is recommended if dust is expected to
be generated. In case of eye contact flush eyes
with water for 15 minutes and consult physician.
In case of skin contact, flush with water.
Remove contaminated clothing promptly. Keep
product containers tightly closed whennot in use.
Store in the original container in cool dry place.
When stored as above, shelf life is a minimum of
2 years.
